Educating young people about biosecurity and threats to local seabirds

Save our Seabirds Schools Resource Pack

Islands are special for nature, particularly for the beautiful seabirds who nest and rear their young on them. Sadly, many of world's seabirds are being pushed to the brink of extinction and WE NEED YOUR HELP TO PROTECT THEM.

The Save our Seabirds education modules outlined below have been designed BY school pupils FOR school pupils. Each module contains a range of fun, interactive and stimulating activities invented by primary-aged pupils from Scottish island or coastal schools, to help others to understand some of the threats that face our seabird populations.
